Porsche Jobs and Careers in UAE

Porsche is a German luxury automaker that has become synonymous with high-performance sports cars, innovative engineering, and a rich racing heritage. Founded in Stuttgart, Germany in 1931, Porsche has been a leader in the automotive industry for over 90 years. The company has a strong reputation for producing some of the most iconic and recognizable sports cars in the world, including the 911, Boxster, and Cayman models.

Porsche’s history can be traced back to its founder, Ferdinand Porsche, who was a renowned engineer and inventor. He was responsible for designing the first hybrid car and the Volkswagen Beetle, which would later become one of the best-selling cars of all time. In 1948, Porsche introduced its first sports car, the Porsche 356, which was followed by the famous Porsche 911 in 1963. The 911 quickly became one of the most iconic sports cars of all time and is still produced today, nearly 60 years later.

Porsche is a German automobile manufacturer specializing in high-performance sports cars, sports cars and sedans, headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The company is owned by Volkswagen, which is majority owned by Porsche Automobil Holding. The current lineup of Porsche includes the 718 Boxster/Kayman, 911 (992), Panamera, Macan, Cayenne and Taycan. The Porsche logo comes from the coat of arms of the Free People of Württemberg in Weimar, Germany between 1918 and 1933, with Stuttgart as its capital. (The state of Württemberg-Hohenzollern used the same arms from 1945 to 1952, while Stuttgart was the capital of neighboring Württemberg-Baden during those years.) The arms of Stuttgart are in the center of the logo as a cover for the company. The headquarters were in Stuttgart.

The heraldic symbols combined with the text “Porsche” and “Stuttgart” do not form a regular coat of arms, because the achievement of heraldry never mentions the name of the army or the hometown of the army on the shield. Württemberg-Baden and Württemberg-Hohenzollern  became part of the modern state of Baden-Württemberg in 1952 following the political consolidation of West Germany in 1949, but the old design of the Württemberg arms  lives on in the Porsche logo. On  January 30, 1951, shortly before the formation of Baden-Württemberg, Ferdinand Porsche died of complications from  a stroke.

F.A. Porsche founded his own design company, Porsche Design, known for exclusive sunglasses, watches, furniture and many other luxury products. Louise’s son and Ferry’s nephew, Ferdinand Piëch, who was responsible for the mechanical development of Porsche’s production and racing cars (including the highly successful 911, 908 and 917), formed his own design office and developed a five-cylinder inline diesel engine  Mercedes-Benz. A little later, he moved to Audi (formerly a division of Volkswagen, then a subsidiary) and continued his career throughout the  company, eventually becoming president of the  Volkswagen Group.
