Etihad Airways is headquartered in the city of Khalifa, Abu Dhabi, near Abu Dhabi International Airport. Etihad Airways spent 183.6 million UAE dirhams (US$50 million) in 2007 to arrange the construction of a new headquarters and training center.
Completion of the new headquarters was scheduled for the end of 2007.
