Job Description

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Preparing WU payment transfers and International Operations telex transfers for Regular payroll.
Processing freelancer payroll for MBC Group, Al Arabiya Channels and Shahid streaming platforms through raising invoices in fusion and seeking appropriate approvals for processing.
Downloading freelancer employees’ payroll and uploading it on the bank website after encrypting for relevant approvals.
Preparing adhoc payroll payments through fusion and seeking payment approvals from Senior Payroll Manager.
Follow-up for payments not received by employees from the treasury team and booking receipts of payments returned in Oracle Fusion.
Reprocess payments for employees’ whose payments returned after getting confirmation on transfer details from the employees and record in Oracle Fusion.
Uploading adhoc payments through bank website ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments.
Preparing payroll recharges during the payroll processing for various intercompany transactions.
Coordinating with payables in processing payroll-related transactions and responding to queries within established service agreement levels.
Maintaining various control measures to prevent duplication of payment through smart business portal. For example: Payments’ logbook,
Archiving payroll transactions for employees’ queries, future reference, and audit sampling.
Resolving all freelancers as per agreed service level agreements.
Seeking approvals from Senior Payroll Manager for various employee payments.
Performing salary control account reconciliations for the group.
Performing adhoc duties related to payroll as and when required by the Senior Payroll Manager.


Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
4 -6 years of experience in a similar position with a large organization.
Complete understanding of the payroll practices and processes.
Familiarity with payroll software oracle fusion along with advanced skills in Excel.
Excellent accounting skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Ability to offer excellent customer service.
Oracle Fusion experience is an advantage.
Fluent in Arabic and English.
