Position Summary:

Based within our Strategy Consulting business line, a Team Leader is a professional that is able to manage small projects or full modules within larger projects with senior consultant and Partner supervision, client and team management, and presentation delivery. The Team Leader is recognized as the Ôthinking engine’ of the module/project having an end-to-end view and depth of analysis.

Responsibilities

á Help facilitate and lead discussions within project teams and client groups

á Independently structure and produce project documents end-to-end

á Act as an expert on a range of telecom topics, supporting the development of intellectual capital and coaching other team members on these topics

á Manage a small project autonomously, identify the key time scales for the different modules, and take responsibility for junior team members’ delivery

á Lead the problem conceptualization and hypothesis generation; develop the storyline; prioritize key outputs; and lead the content generation in a project

á Develop the work plan for the different modules of the project, understand priorities, identify key risks and define solutions

á Communicate clearly and confidently with team members, both junior and senior, and with senior clients

á Manage and coach junior team members

Qualifications & Experience:

á In depth knowledge and interest in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) industry

á An MBA from a leading global business school

á 4-6 years’ experience within a top tier management consultancy firm

á Mature demeanor and positive attitude, as well as discretion and sensitivity when dealing with clients

á Logical and lateral thinker, with excellent problem solving skills

á Flexible to accommodate frequent travel

á Builds good professional and personal relationships with client teams at middle and senior management levels

á Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and add value

á Team player, who possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity and will act as a role model and mentor to junior consultants
