Role And Responsibilities
The role collectively supports the back-of-house operations of a retail store, ensuring that products are received, stored, maintained, and presented to customers in an efficient and organized manner while also focusing on loss prevention and maintaining the overall quality and integrity of the store’s inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF A JR. SALES ASSISSTANT INCLUDE:
Precision and Adherence to Regulatory Standards in Scanning Operations (Inwards & outwards).
Precision in Item Pricing and Application of Security Tags.
Punctual Execution of Sales Implementation.
Strict Policy Against Documentation Errors, Including Labeling, ASN, DN, and SED.
Timely and Accurate Reporting of Discrepancies.
Responsible for receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise shipments.
Maintains inventory accuracy through stock checks and updates.
Restocks the sales floor and ensures product availability.
Handles product returns and exchanges, as well as defective items.
Creates appealing and on-brand displays to showcase products.
Rotates merchandise and updates displays to attract customers.
Collaborates with the store manager to implement marketing and promotional materials.
Receives and verifies merchandise shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.
Coordinates the unloading and storage of products.
Processes invoices and handles paperwork related to shipments.
Inspects incoming and outgoing merchandise for defects and quality issues.
Assuring that the back-of-house operations is arranged.
Timely responsible for support sales floor.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; some visual merchandising courses or relevant experience may
Attention to detail, organizational skills, physical stamina (lifting and carrying items), knowledge of
inventory management systems.
Some visual merchandising courses or relevant experience may be preferred.
Organized, problem-solving, knowledge of safety procedures.
