The Sales Executive is an extremely important for the organisation to bring in revenue and are also the liaison between the company and clients. Professional who promotes products, services to clients and negotiating contracts with the aim of maximining profits. Key point of contact between an organisation and its customers. Provide a professional and efficient first point of contact for customers, internal and external whilst optimising sales opportunities. Sales Executive will help locate products for customers, place orders, place holds, process transactions you should be able to contribute to customer relationship development and increase companys growth and revenue through sales maximisation. Support the commercial activities of the team, ensuring all information and processes are effective and accurate. Ensuring to provide a positive contribution where possible to the companys profit margin.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies.
Handing customer questions, inquires and complaints.
Participate in Sales Meeting weekly.
Meeting with clients during sales visits. Demonstrating and presenting products.
Establishing, negotiate new business and contracts.
Maintaining accurate records.
Attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings.
Review sales performance on a regular basis with management. Working towards monthly or annual targets.
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Ascertain customers needs and wants.
Providing product information, selection, and sales from the stores products to customers. Keep up to date with product information.
Provide support to the management team, ensuring all processes are implemented effectively and standards of performance attained for the effective running of the department.
Resolve any queries.
Act as an ambassador for the company when meeting customers/ suppliers and create an excellent impression.
Faster learner and passionate for sales.
Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
Take feedback from customers and ashre it with the team.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Any other general ad hoc duties necessary to assist the smooth running of the business.
Assist by achieving sales targets monthly or annually.
Assist by increasing profit margin.
Assist the team with cost saving initiatives enabling cost savings for the business.
Assist management with updates and any new implementation.
Assist in any relevant trade shows and events.
Aptitude in sound decision-making and problem-solving in pressure situations.
Collaborate with the management to develop and implement plans for additional revenue generation.
Maintaining Health & Safety Standards in accordance with Municipality, Civil Defence, and industry best practice with the wider company.
Comply with legislation and business policies, processes, and instructions, including those relating to non-discrimination, safety, and privacy.
Take care of your own health and safety, and that of others, follow any reasonable instruction given by the business, and report any concern(s) which may give rise to danger, and/or any injury which may occur in the workplace.
Dept. Organisation Structure/ Reporting lines
Reports to the Operations Manager / Managing Director.
You have at least 1 year experience within a Inside Sales / Sales Development Representative role, ideally within the Hospitality and Manufacturing industry.
You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
You are a strong networker & relationship builder
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the manufacturing industry.
Have a thorough understanding of the products we are selling. To answer any questions from the customers.
Having a driving license.
Proficient in English. Ability to speak more than one language.
Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills (oral and written), enabling effective interaction with internal and external customers using diplomacy, discretion, and tact as required in a professional work environment.
Demonstrated ability to portray a welcoming atmosphere, friendly disposition, and helpful nature.
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize work to achieve outcomes within required deadlines.
Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate data and document procedures.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, in an effective and flexible manner.
Basic to intermediate skills & experience in the use of MS Office and other relevant software packages/applications.
Excellent skills in establishing effective working relationships with businesses, partners, and customers.
Self-motivated and driven by targets.
