About the job
To support our Team in Dubai, UAE we are looking for:
Financial Accountant
You should have at least 3-5 years’ experience in covering the role of Accountant in the Oil&Gas / Industrial Market.
Your tasks will be the following:
Weekly Reporting on general job-related matters and respond to any requests from the Direct Manager,
Reconciles collection and billing accounts on regular basis to accurately reflect the status of accounts receivable,
Responsible for Accurate posting of all AP & AR invoices on ERP, monthly reconciliation of customers and suppliers accounts,
Ensure completeness, accuracy of Cost of Sales upon revenue recognition.
Coordinate AR collection with sales team, monitor trade receivables due dates on monthly basis,
Verify, allocate, post, and ensure timely payment to suppliers,
Weekly update of sales, backlog Order Intake file,
Coordinate to receive and document the information on fixed assets to support and update the fixed assets register, monitor the capitalization process within annual CAPEX budget.
Support in monthly closing, including preparation of the JE for bank and Intercompany reconciliation after obtaining the necessary approvals.
Assist in annual statutory audit, respond to all external auditor queries,
Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
Liaise with local EOHS Safety & Security Officer
Act always in accordance with Company standards and procedure for Health, Safety and Environmental
Respond efficiently to the demands of administration procedures imposed either by the company, HR or Clients
Job Requirements:
You must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or Equivalent.
Experience in Sage 300 system is a plus.
You have a passion for customer focus, a strong service orientation, enjoy working with people from different nationalities and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
You are of a reliable and communicative nature and have strong analytical and organizational skills.
A high degree of independence, communication skills in discussions with international clients and a highly developed quality conscience are characterizing your personality.
You are fluent in the English language orally and written and you are familiar with the following IT applications (MS-Office; ERP; Etc.)
