Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Loan Coordinator to facilitate the end-to-end loan application process in our mortgage services department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting necessary documents from customers, liaising with the mortgage team, and ensuring tracking of a smooth loan application and closure process. The Loan Coordinator will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining effective communication throughout the loan lifecycle between the customer and Mortgage Advisor.
Responsibilities:
Interact with customers to collect all required documents for loan applications.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted documents, promptly requesting any missing or additional information.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the loan application process, addressing their inquiries and providing timely updates.
Coordinate with the mortgage team to ensure the seamless transfer of documents and information, maintaining clear and effective communication channels.
Monitor the progress of loan applications, tracking milestones and deadlines to ensure timely processing.
Regularly follow up with customers and internal stakeholders to provide status updates and address any potential roadblocks.
Keep track of all loan applications, including their status, key milestones, and potential bottlenecks.
Prepare daily reports summarizing the progress of loan applications, providing insights to management and relevant stakeholders.
