The opportunity
Project: Mace is providing project management services on a large mall in Dubai, the project is a redevelopment of multiple aspects of the mall with associated infrastructure.
Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Being responsible for managing all necessary approvals, permits, licenses, and no objection certificates (NOCs) that have been or are able to be obtained from the competent authorities or third parties (including stakeholders).
Determining what approvals and permits are required for the project (or part thereof).
Determining the lead times for those approvals.
Monitoring the other consultants or contractorsÂ’ progress on submission of applications.
Assisting in dealings with the competent authorities.
Assisting where required to secure approvals (including any presentations required or corrective actions and resubmissions) and in addition maintaining an approvals register (including all certificates and licenses obtained) of all such approvals required, and whether they have been obtained or not.
Ensuring that all permits, NOCs, and approvals are identified.
Keeping up to date the approvals register to identify in advance all required approvals, permits, NOC, etc., detailing when they are required, from whom, and the party most directly responsible for obtaining them including any resubmission dates where corrective actions have been required.
About You
You have a bachelor’s degree in built environment, mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering.
You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and lead a strong, motivated team. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike. You have previous working experience on construction projects and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
