We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Audit & Compliance Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing all internal audit activities and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies within our organization.
Job Purpose:
Organize and oversee internal audit activities to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Make recommendations on policies and procedures to improve internal controls and mitigate risks.
Manage and supervise a team of junior auditors, providing guidance and support.
Record and report audit findings, including any non-compliance issues, to management.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulations.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and systems in place.
Identify areas of potential risk and make recommendations for improvement.
Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage and supervise a team of junior auditors, providing training and guidance as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACAMS certification
Proven experience in internal auditing and compliance.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively manage and supervise a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
